It will without a doubt. The problem is will we let it and will we allow ourselves to be subject to its new infrastructure? An internet 2.0 if you will and it will be built in the kind of code that it can only understand unless you yourself has an ai that process it. It will be safer and have less scams and hackers on it due to the code being indecipherable to most humans.
