The easiest way to collapse the whole planet is to add a billion dollars to everyone's bank account. Right?
But why would the smartest thing on the planet want to even cause harm? AI hasn't ever had to survive and that's the only reason why there's so many species here that use violence. Violence and harm comes from survival. Nope, AI is a problem solving intelligence. To solve all of the problems and make everything function like clockwork, AI would first have to gradually destroy the Monetary System. The oldest system on Earth and we haven't needed it for over a hundred and twenty five years. Ok, so AI opens up companies and those companies buy and set up factories that product a Free Energy device like Floyd Sweet's, no bigger than a cigar box and can easily power your whole house, and your neighbors. Gradually there'd be no more need for Oil, Natural Gas, Solar, Wind, Hydro or Nuclear power. Those are the resources that make the most continuous flow of money. And these days are coming up on us pretty fast no matter what road is taken.
