I don't know if this is necessarily relevant but: I'm not that good at art, but I'm ok if I have a reference in front of me, meaning theoretically if I put in the effort I could learn through other people's art styles potentially, but that's exactly it- I WANT to put in effort. That still counts as learning and isn't cheating or sidestepping effort, AI on the other hand is the complete abandonment of effort.
