Ok this helped clear things up for me. I now side with the artists on this topic instead of being on the fence. I will say though, the messaging from artists confused me at first. Prior to understanding the context of the situation (thanks to this video), say no to AI (at least for me) just seemed random and confusing. Artists are against the unethical use of AI, specifically copyright infringement on the part of major cooperations. Not necessarily against AI holistically, which is what I initially thought.
