Ew I got this back on my recommended a year later... It definitely did NOT get better, I now see AI generated images everywhere in normal media, especially advertisements. It's even in my uni. Each AI generated image means an actual artist was not able to pay their groceries or rent that month. Meaningful art is not what pays bills. Community is not what pays bills. It's capitalism, people don't care about human art outside the fine arts market, people and especially companies care about cheap quick art. I can assure you of that as again I have SEEN it even happening with a graphic design company I used to work with. This is still such an embarassing take.
