As long as the owners of the driverless trucks are held responsible for any and all accidents or people injured/perished by them, and are fully criminally charge to the maximum extent of the law and given maximum sentences. Period. To me they are saying that I am more responsible that the drivers behind the wheel. It's isn't as though the google driverless car was responsible for causing death to another human like Elaine Herzberg when she was struck by a driverless car. § 28-792 outlines pedestrian right-of-way laws. Even in Kentucky the law is you yield to pedestrians even if no marked crosswalk. Also, I'm sure the system on the truck can never be hacked. Ever.
