He is fooling the world in order to become the next Trillionaire elon musk. Elon has tangible assets cars, rockets, satellites, solar power etc.
But AI is simply algorithms making right and wrong guesses gathered from random sometime unkown data sources, mostly incorrect, out of date and uncleansed 'dirty' data.
