We have become so efficient in production that we can't consume it all. In ideal world everyone has a job that produces something of value, they get money to spend on those caluable products or services. One person on average (with the help of tech and machines) can now produce more than it can consume, making another job spot obsolete. More people job hunting means less leverage for vage rising in the whole economy. This is just progress at work, we can't really fix it, AI will just speed it up significantly. IMO capitalism has done it's job and reached it's peak somewhere around 2000s and we really need to find something else because this won't work for much longer.
