AI can spread, but it can never act and spread like a virus. A virus is a self-contained package, capable of doing all that is needs to do in and of itself. AI can't do this. AI can send out agents and bots, but the processing power required for this type of AI is immense. Supercomputers with crazy electrical requirements not including the electricity required for cooling. With intelligence, there is always a brain.
