Careful of the "Goomba Fallacy!" People online having two contradictory arguments isn't inherently a contradiction unless it's LITERALLY the same individual. Anyway, as someone with physical issues that DO prevent me from drawing... AI prompts aren't a replacement for drawing myself, because that's not how it works. That's not the same thing. It's just replacing *hiring someone else to draw for me.* I've gotten art commissions done. I'm getting one done presently. It's a similar process. You're not an artist for using an AI prompt any more than you're the artist when you have lengthy, detailed discussion with a professional artist and then they make the piece to your specifications. Oh, you spent time refining the prompt? Well, I spent time telling the artist to adjust certain parts of the draft. Even if we were to accept that AI art is art, that would make the AI an artist, NOT the prompt-giver.
