I’m only just starting out in this field but I have been so interested in it for many years and it’s sad to see it go this way. I don’t like AI but I know how necessary it will be for the future, not because it’s an option but because it will be a requirement down the line. As much as I hate learning it I have to do so to make a living. But in the end it already is and still will be hard to get a job now so I’m at the point “if I have the ability to use AI, and I know how to code myself to check and prompt correctly, why not start my own small business instead?” If you can’t get a job in the job market, make a new job for the market and be your own boss. It may not be as solid as getting a company job… but when you can’t land a company job to benign with then how secure really is a company job compared to making your own business?
