All arguments for and against AI art are based on the premises of capitalistic principles and private property. In the future there will be no private property. Art is an elitist pastime in this day and age. AI art generators give everyone the opportunity to prompt up concepts of theirs in the styles they’d never be able to achieve because they lack the money and resources to develop the skill set. It’s a framework of the debate no one is discussing. Capitalism as the primary isn’t an argument for if a field of art / new technology should exist or not.
