I’m so sorry this happened to you. I’m a watercolor artist and have been doing well in my local art gallery. I noticed for the past few months that my sales were almost half. When I went in there to hang more of my pieces, I noticed some art pieces in there that were obviously AI generated. I took a watercolor painting out of it’s package to get a good look at it and it was actually a print that someone painted over!! I could see the print lines! I was so mad. It upset me so much that I’m not even motivated to paint anymore. Those AI “paintings” are so convincing and so detailed that it’s hard to compete with 😢
