First off to suggest that a single AI que uses as much energy as 30 houses in a year is completely absurd. How can a computer uses for 30.seconds use that much power? Are you trying to say that a single question requires 100 warehouses full of computers all.workig at the same time on that one question?
Because that is the levels of power the presenter wants us to believe is being used.
That almost as absurd as the notion that a single hamburger causes as much pollution as 3 house holds of 4 people crate in a year.. it makes one wonder where "researchers" get thier data from, who is providing that data, and how biased the data is toward particular points of view.
