The funny rhing is how you didnt mention about the commercial collapse, if people have no money , companis, like you said walmart, wont be able to sell products, but there isnt a company in this world that doesnt depent of the buying power of the people, if there is a mining company it should exist a company that uses that mineral to build something that will endup in the hand of buyers, if a small amount of people have the majority of the money, these people will need to pay much more expensives products to allow the sellers company to not go bankrupty since from millions of buyers only a few thounsand are left.
Ai will change the world, but the world wont become a paradise nor a distopian because of it.
