A corporation is just a group of humans. It's a ridiculous jump to say that because we recognize a group of humans as an entity, therefore we have to grant personhood to a piece of software. Also, wasn't the argument against AI regulation that AI is simply just math? And regulators would be ridiculous to try and regulate math and code? Now all of a sudden we're pivoting and saying oh no it's not just math and code, it's a sentient being that is worthy of personhood within human society.
