He isn’t low iQ. But his ego is tied to his creation which is why he implicitly overestimates the impacts in the real world, forgetting that a purely mathematical machine which AI is has no chance endangering the jobs of the cool because it lacks sentience. There are just too many situations which cannot be fully modeled. We don’t even understand our body enough. This is why there cannot be an ai which full speed figures everything out.
Math might be more powerful than high school bored students think but it’s not magic. Since math is the inner leader of AI, AI is limited the same as maths is. Our subject helps optimize things but it cannot replace composers, artists, pilots in stall situations, doctors and the teachers of the disabled
