I work in customer service and they are TRYING to AI away my job, but AI keeps failing at it and being a very expensive hype with no results. People bypass the AI to speak to a human. AI gives the wrong answers, a lot. A lot a lot. I mean, our 'AI assistant' that is supposed to give us the info we need before we look for it in the manuals has been trained on literally millions of use cases and it still gets the name of the company wrong...
