I did my final paper without AI ( I used it only for the conclusion) it was a 60 page engineering project paper. All my professors said was "You passed!". 60 pages, 6 months, hours and hours of work on the protect and more to write it only to get the spoken equivalent of a 👍🏽 emoji. My friends used AI to do the paper...they were less frustrated.
