I'm pretty sick and tired of this narrative.
Loook, AI is a tool. I've worked with it. I've programmed AI before it was cool. I have over 15 years in programming.
Stop spreading bullshit. There is no immediate threat. AI can barely understand context (LLM) but taking over the world and all that shit?
Please... ffs. If you don't have a supercomputer ... and lots of electricity.... AI is uselss.
Again, it gives a lot of failures and uncompilable code. It 'invents' functions and then says. Sorry I didn't know.
Therefore, please stop telling people that AI will take over. Maybe in 20-50 years, after all the research will conclude to something more tangible.
Right now, it can generate images but still has lots of issues when doing that. It can generate code, but still 70% it is pure SHIT. It can generate a lot of boilerplate, yes... it does an amazing job understanding and writing boilerplate code and text.
Therefore, please STAHP spreading this fear that AI will dominate the human being.
