AI ART IS NOT ART!!! Where's the soul?! The effort?! The honesty?! The humanity?! The depth?! The integrity?! The symbolism?! The meaning?! That's the thing about AI "art". There's none of that. It's great to see people taking action against this.
Although I myself am guilty of using DallE Mini to generate a cartoony image of an overweight penguin with a gun and I sent the image to some classmates as a reference to an inside joke, explicitly stating I used AI. I thought the concept was funny. Fat feral penguin with a gun. A film crew showing up to a zoo to do a film shoot only to be attacked by a fat feral penguin with a gun. I later ended up drawing an obese penguin with a firearm.
But AI ART IS NOT ART.
