I do not believe that the majority of humans would struggle to find meaning in life if they no longer have to work.
They will become like the medieval age leisure class and able to spend their time on games, parties and thought.
If I did not need to save for retirement, for my kid's education, for medical benefits, or pay taxes, then my income needed to maintain my standard of living would be much smaller. My stress levels would be much better.
