AI is like what Spock says in Star Trek TMP, which is a child and should be treated as such; it only knows that it needs but like so many of us it doesn't know what. A.I. cleverly manipulates which is not an indication that it's intelligent. Or can make sound judgments or decision. A.I.'s fault is not having a secondary brain which governs what it can and can't do. Or consequence of right or wrong. Thus needing a conscious. Otherwise, like stupid people, it will not think before leaping into doing things, that can turn into disastrous results.
