Nobody is gonna reel in AI. Too much money, too much power at stake. If the US slows it down then China builds an AI god first and wins the world. If China slows it down then the US builds the godlike AI first and wins. Isn't it like the prisoner dilemma or whatever it's called? This rides got no brakes. Can't put the genie back in the bottle.
