Main question I've always had towards AI development is how is it going to even have intentions or emotions if these are created in humans by evolution? We want to survive because the humans that wanted to survive were the ones who had offsprings with the same trait. It's a completely arbitrary byproduct of evolution, why and how would AI have the same by just acquiring consciousness?
