I’d argue Ai should replace a lot of offshored tech jobs because AI in the hands of someone with SME knowledge and strong business domain knowledge who is paid well enough to have the initiative to deliver value to a company will far outweigh an underpaid, under motivated, and over allocated offshore worker who is just churning prompts and hoping for the best without a clear understanding of business requirements or business process.
