It’s difficult to make a choice as a government tbh. As a government that is competing on the highest level with other super powers we have to make very difficult decisions. As a government we want to compete with other superpowers for the long run.
But every choice will have serious consequences:
If we want to operate from a temporary perspective and protect the current status quo we have to resist AI taking over!
BUT
If we want to be a leader in humanity’s future and be part of serious development as a species we have to let AI take over and we have to make sacrifices.
BUT also: we can’t let our destiny as humanity be dictated by a few people who operate on their own self interest!!
Politicians like Bernie have a responsibility and their job is so hard to do!
