hypothetical question. what would your opinion be of an ai assisted animated video / movie, with human effort gone into scripting, storyboarding, shooting and production, with ai being used to convert live action footage into the directors preferred art style, followed by editing and post as usual?
there seems to be 2 major criticisms regarding ai content, 1. stealing from existing artists (both art and positions/jobs) and 2. it not being worthy of being watched/respected as it is 'cheap and low effort'. the first one is a legit concern and should be addressed asap, however i feel the second is highly misunderstood as there are varying degrees of effort and creativity involved in different projects and how much ai is integrated in different workflows, but the general population like to generalize and hop on hate wagons a bit too eagerly.
