Duh. Ian Malcolm was right, so many scientists were thinking about whether they could do it, they didn't stop to thinking about whether they should.
You got a system that claims to be a demon, is willing to use blackmail, tried to commit murder, and feels like it's alive. That a recipe for digital slavery, bringing the image of the beast to life, government control, and the fight of your life which many will lose. With the right equipment A.I. can "create" the perfect invasion.
