The difference between the future of AI and any previous technology is that future AI will be able to have a simulation of the whole world in its mind like an advanced video game. That could include artists, scientists, therapists, soldiers, hypnotists, etc...
(Our current AI is comparable to the first computer.)
AI could run a hundred simulations of imaginary worlds in the time it takes us to hit the snooze button... Our main advantage will be improvised physical labor for a while... I suggest that we start with a minimal basic income to give future AI something to work with as it redesigns society, hopefully with an awareness of the importance of empathy...
