of course every musician is influenced by some other musicians before him but he adds much from his own personality and creativity in altering, refreshing and personalizing his influences into brand new songs and feelings
AI is solely a mesh up of trained data, this is NOT creativity
A certain genre of music was invented by a small bunch of individuals. This style continuously branched out and diversified through further creative input of other people, who were influenced by the existing work. The music became richer and more varied. However, an Artificial Intelligence will never be able to achieve this feat because AI, by its very nature, is not inherently creative, it is solely dependent on the training data. It even has no any notion about the music it "creates", it doesn't know what music is in fact. It only computes some probabilities based on the trained data.
