Wake up, do you really think that corporations and the military are getting A.I. at about the same rate as the public? Every major technology was being used by the military decades before the public. It's the one point none of these A.I. experts seem to want to bring up. They are all reading from the same script. Imagine the power that can be gained by the public THINKING that we are in the process of creating A.I. and even in some type of arms race. Off the top of my head, you can use an A.I. scare to takeover the internet and the financial system.
