AI needs to be deprivatized. Can’t have private ownership of the technology that makes human labor obsolete. The owners will effectively conquer the world. Actually, this would be true of state-owned AI too. AI has to belong to everyone, serve everyone, answer to everyone. Anyone outside of the AI’s sphere of obligation will be doomed. The old dichotomy of capitalism vs socialism goes out the window when human labor ends. Either the machines belong to the world, or the world belongs to the owners.
