I hated school and only went because I was embarrassing my mother with all the truancy hearings… I just couldn’t sit and stare at a book and then take that book home and stare at it there… how dare they infect my home life with things that weren’t fun… nothing interested me except aviation and history… I only graduated high school because I wanted to see my friends and follow them into college… I would honestly get jealous of my school mates who could pay attention and do the work…
