It was good. I don't agree with him on all points, but we are of a mind on quite a few. My main concern is that we cannot hold back on AI development until we achieve needed improvements in ethics, morality, and society in general. I simply don't feel that we have that much time before we have to have it, not just to continue forward, but to avoid cataclysmic collapse. Fortunately, I don't think anyone can slow it down on a global basis--although we truly don't want the bad players, and I'm looking at institutions like the CCP, to attain it first. It would be rather like Tolkien said, if Sauron attained the One Ring first, "... his victory will be swift and complete: so complete that none can foresee the end of it while this world lasts."
