Me, studying Engineering and Programming: nice 👍
Not but for real, I think some context and nuance is needed.
If we suppose that all developers jobs went to AI, then most of use will relocate to higher tasks and management. AI might replace the simple programming (since we just copy what's on StackOverFlow), but not the higher thinking that goes behind a project. You should try asking it to do a project for you (yeah I'm guilty).
And when it comes to mathematics and engineers, I think people don't really understand how AI works when they say that: AI doesn't think (not yet anyways) it construct ideas and phrases based on patterns in the data it has. The data that comes from human researcher.
If Computer Scientists decided to doom themselves in a few years and managed to create a model that ACTUALLY thinks (which is doubtful, what is thinking even? Although there are research and experience that links rat neurons to computer and train them, so who knows)... then yeah, everybody will become unemployed then 😅
