I feel like even if AI takes the coding part, one thing that people overlook is the problem solving aspect. You can see this in how people word prompts in AI to something like cursor. As a person who is taking a break from school due to life reason, I was in school for programing. Sure it does seem like AI is a bit better than me at coding but what I noticed it that is is absolutely horrible at problem solving. Will this change in the future maybe. For example. You have to problem solved how you ask it to do something, dare I say prettyuch have your whole plan worked out and ask AI to do it. So it's still in a way programming but in a different aspect. Like an evolution of programming. Sure in the future you won't have to write at much code but you will still need to problem solved. Which is something a lot of people don't do.
