Gemini 3.1 is useless for serious research: Apologies follow errors follow apologies follow errors. What worries me is that I've been taking as fact answers that I've allowed because I didn't know the subject enough to contest Gemini 3.1 at that moment. Had I contested Gemini 3.1 at any of those moments, it's possible (probable?) that Gemini 3.1 would have lobbed back another apology for its mistake.
