The way I've described AI art to my friends that don't get it, is that at least right now, it's fundamentally the same as taking somebody elses artwork, changing it up in photoshop, and then claiming that YOU made it, because you altered This, That, and Those. The only real difference is that now it's the computer doing the photoshopping, instead of a person.
