Once again ignoring the fact that there are people who can make the AI do shit with a purpose.
With a really well defined prompt you can absolutely make art with just as much intention and meaning behind it as other forms of art and media.
Hell, you could even lean into the AIs artifacting and use to make a really eclectic or creepy image.
I understand why you have this take, but this is incredibly dismissive of a technology that could actually be used for art.
