It does not matter how powerful AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) becomes in solving wicked problems. At the end of the day, the decision to act—or not—will rest with governments and big institutions. Historically, these entities have prioritized profit over the well-being of the world. Perhaps for this very reason, AI will eventually take over.
