Digital art did the same thing in some ways.
Digital art allowed people who had put no time into painting or inking or silk screening
And even photography
To make art who dont know how to produce the same thing in real life on camvas or on photo paper.
Im one of the ones that never went digital.
And how i used to do photography dissappeared to the new version of comnining poor apatures to create a mesh of best results.
Granted digital also allowed people with skill to not have to wait on their paint to dry.
It all has its place.
