Many believe all jobs will be replaced by AI, then will control everything. For whom, for what purpose, from the AI.
This may test the ingenuity of our species, but there will be a tipping point where people think; “We’ve created a system that is dangerous to work with or feed through our participation, so let’s find a way to go off grid.” If it is an apparent existential threat, many will be will to go ferral if necessary.
Secondly, to say all jobs could be replaced within X period of time obfuscates the capital requirements, and production challenge necessary to build the physical infrastructure.
Smaller Companies, even today that have unique services, will not be able to afford AI, the upfront costs to even facilitate AI assuming knowledge work functions. It will pay for those who can gain control of the capital necessary to build this infrastructure, plus the robotics to replace any function.
It is anthropomorphic for people who live in a society where they can do knowledge training and work their entire lives simply can’t comprehend the difficulties necessary to overcome on the physical plane.
