I agree with most of what you say (I only say most because I didn't watch the whole thing, but I agree with everything you said up to where I watched). I do not agree with the conclusion "AI Art is theft", I think your arguments are very good and well thought. I'm a bad debater so I'm not going to debate. I do ask you this: if a human draws something by hand and he/she says this is inspired by X and the painting is in the style of X, did the artist steal from X? Isn't every work done by every artist inspired in one way on another on everything he/she has learned in the past. I guess it all comes down to if you believe training on public images of art is stealing. If you do a replica and do not reference the original author, that is definitely stealing, but that is not what is happening here. Every result/work done by AI is original, based on what it learned, similar to a human. I would agree this is stealing in the same way a human artist looks at a piece of art in a gallery and tries to replicate certain patterns, certain styles, certain colors, certain techniques. If you consider this stealing, then yes, AI is also stealing.
