I literally had an art assignment semi recently where you had to make some kind of monster using an AI image and turn it into a Mola (a hand made textile that forms women clothing from the people of Columbia and Panama) out of felt. I chose a creature called a Marozi, which is essentially a lion with leopard spots from Kenya, and I distinctly remember having to reference actual lions laying down because the AI generated image looked fine, but the back legs were nonexistent. May I mention that this assignment is in an Art II class in high school, with the board saying it was necessary.
AI has no place in art.
