I have no worries about how I’d spend my free time. If my basic needs and even more were covered, I’d finally have the chance to enjoy life with my kids, and maybe one day with grandkids, spend time with friends, go out into nature, and even just pause to think (something we so often lack time for). I wouldn’t feel anxious about tomorrow’s meals, losing my job, or even the fear of losing it.
I’d play the piano, paint, sing, dance, embroider simply because I love it. And maybe that’s where AI could actually be a blessing: freeing us to do things not for money, but for their true value. Who knows, maybe it really could feel like paradise.
