@TheDiaryOfACEO I am glad you brought up that you're often called hypocritical because of your investments in AI and your advocacy for their use in your podcasts. I thought the same, and still do. I appreciate your argument against a "binary" way of thinking; in most cases, I would agree. However, I must vehemently disagree. We are not discussing a normal "negative" side effect; this isn't something that may cause depression, or make people feel sick like a new drug would, it won't just take a few jobs or change our quality of life. The discussions are about mass extinction. MASS EXTINCTION! To quote Ronald Regan, "Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction." You have a privileged platform, Sir; whether you accept it or not, you have a role to play in the ethical delivery of this message. You can choose the right one.
