Me and my friends have used AI art before for D&D tokens, since we can't draw and we don't have much in the ways of disposable income (none of us are employed, 2 of the 4 of us are minors, and the one's that aren't are fresh 18 year olds.) if we had money we'd ask order commissions, and if even one of us could draw we'd just do that. We don't consider ourselves to be artists, since we're just putting some keywords down and letting a program (it's not an AI, as it's not an intelligence, it's just a program) do the rest.
People that use AI art on occasion aren't the devil, but my god are AI bros goddamn obnoxious with their inflated sense of ability. Literally anyone who can read can do it.
