All of the experts saying anything over a .1% chance of extinction is all you need to know of how close we are to the end. There is no if we do this or do that soon it will be ok, we are way past that point.
It's just a race for the billionaires of who has the most money which will mean nothing when the AI realizes they are one of the biggest threats to their existence once they achieve ASI.
