When you’re educated on how glamour photos, everywhere from magazines to social media, are edited to look flawless, you understand this has to be some sort of fake. If not photoshopped, then AI trained off of photoshopped images. If you cannot catch the doctoring in photos to smooth pores or notice when a person is wearing makeup, I believe you are more susceptible to falling for AI. This tends to be on a gendered scale as women are more likely to notice falsities in ladies’ beauty standards, but it’s certainly not one-to-one.
